The best and cheapest way for tourists who land at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to get to the hotel is by riding on the Airport Rail Link and the MRT subway. From the airport, board the Airport Rail Link train going to Makkasan station. At Makkasan, guests may easily stroll above a road bridge towards Phetchaburi MRT station. From here, ride on the MRT Blue Line straight to Wat Mangkon station which is just a simple short walk of about 5-10 minutes away from the hotel. This whole trip is very pocket friendly plus it dodges Bangkok's renowned traffic jams.
A taxi or Grab will also be very convenient if you have much luggage with you. From Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), travel time is about 45-60 minutes, subject to traffic conditions during the time of day. Always have the address of the place written in Thai to show the driver. If coming in at Don Mueang Airport (DMK), a taxi or Grab would also be most practical with about the same travel time.
Do not get a car. Yaowarat is old, very thick and packed, with small roads and almost no space to park. There is no parking at the place either. This city's great public travel choice beats it by being better, cheaper and less stress to use to move around the city; the MRT stop is very close.
